I believe this absurd we should be able to wear our hair the way we choose as long as it's not distracting other students especially if the hair is at it natural born state and was not altered in any way

This policy is completely ridiculous! I find it so hard to believe that any professional would actually try to enforce this!! Why will they not let people wear their hair naturally? It makes no sense to me.
