社會福利署於一月份將約2 600名青年在職的活動工作員職位PW定影（snapshot），藉此「陰乾」這職位，逐步削減PW職位，計劃來年一刀切取消。工會將於5月10日約見勞工及福利局局長張建宗，屆時討論PW未來安排，這涉及各社福同工和服務使用者的權益，工會必須將會議中清楚表達我們的集體訴求，顯示力量。
故此，社會福利機構員工會決定發起聯署行動，呼籲業界同工及服務使用者共同參與，會見勞福局局長張建宗表達以下訴求︰1. 撤回職位定影措施 2. 將PW職位常規化，提高PW的薪酬福利待遇!
