RE: Plumas County Board of Supervisors (BOS) to support funding for the Plumas County Chambers of Commerce.
On May 18, 2021, a presentation will be made to the Plumas County BOS to reinstate financial funding to Chambers in Plumas County: 1) Chester/Almanor Chamber 2) Quincy Chamber 3) Lost Sierra Chamber and 4) Indian Valley Chamber.
The request is for $50,000 per year, for each Chamber, and Chambers will have to meet certain guidelines and outcomes in ensuing years to maintain that level of financial support.
This petition requests your support by signing your full name, complete physical address, and email. To illustrate our community enthusiasm, each Chamber will solicit as many signatures as possible to present at the May 18th BOS meeting. Thank you for your consideration.

The scale of this response is sufficient to influence our presentation to the Board of Supervisors. I am currently finalizing the formal packet for the meeting to ensure our request for funding is clearly documented.

Our small towns depend on these chambers to keep things moving. Please restore the funding before we lose more local shops.
THESE CHAMBERS DO SO MUCH WORK FOR US. The board needs to see that we want this money put back into our local economy.
Been a business owner here for 20 years and the chamber has always been there to help. Need this budget passed.
As a small business owner, long-time resident of Plumas County, and Chamber member and volunteer, I understand the value chambers bring to their community. Chambers ARE the economic engine that drives commerce and supports businesses, which in turn raises tax dollars in Plumas County to improve schools, roads and health care. I am proud to be a Plumas County resident and support this petition.
Local business drives the economic health of our communities here in Plumas County. Our Chambers understand that businesses need support to be successful. I am delighted to extend my support towards this effort. - Shayna D.

Quincy needs the support. We have to keep our businesses alive or this whole area will just suffer.
