Jury diversity is essential in order to correct an unfair judicial system. Prosecutors who strive to keep blacks off juries are acting in racist ways and they should be the ones under fire.

Injustice at its core. White Federal Judge clears a White Male from even standing trial for Murder with no blow back, yet when this Judge uses his Authority in pursuit of Justice these cronies' hair stand up on their backs.

why is this even a question in 2015?

So glad someone is taking up this cause. I have two loved ones that are doing way more time then their crime deserved and I know of a few friends also.

As a professor in criminal justice let me say that Judge Stevens is absolutely correct in his assessment and Tom Wine is an perfect example of the problem with the criminal justice system. We need to return discretion to the bench and rope in prosecutors who over-charge and rig juries.
