Help support Judge Olu Stevens. No Justice No Peace

As people of color, not just African-Americains but Hispanics, Asians and others need to get involved against a system that see us as a theat rather than a part of and less than the human beings God has made us all to be.

I find this extremely insulting and a denial at the highest level. How can he achieve success and because he has a courageous burning in his sole to speak out on the reality of the criminal justice systems clear and blatant discrimination, they wish to black list him. Keep fighting for what's right Judge Stevens.

I agree with the words of Dr. Watkins: "Our children who make a mistake should not be condemned to prison torture by all-white juries that do not reflect the views of the community from which they came."

The fact that this is even an issue shows the imbalance in the judicial process. We demand juries that are representative of the communities in which we, as Black people, live. Lady Justice does indeed peek from under her blindfold and Judge Stevens was attempting to restore objectivity and fairness. Long ago, Thomas Jefferson, saw the injustice, "I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just; that his justice cannot sleep forever."

This should let Black Americans know racism is live and well in America. We see it daily in our society call equal justice system. DUI kill four people and the state pays for your rehab. Black 99 years in jail. Good old American equal justice system.

What, precisely, doesn't the head of the Commonwealth Attorney's Office understand about the concept of a "jury of one's peers" ?Stop being ridiculous! Jim Crow juries must be eliminated for good. Stand strong Judge Stevens!

I am standing up in regards to this great man, who saw an injustice and DID something about it. Now I'm standing along with him by signing this petition on his behalf.

I support the judge's decision. This is one of the biggest problems in our judicial system.
