It's ridiculous!! He asked for a jury who represent the community which is part of the law. This is disgusting and shows the hypocrisy of the law. Reinstate this man - Now!

Judge Steven's!!
I am an attorney in Georgia. I have been practicing for over 20 years. The biggest problem that are judicial system has is the judiciary. I often say that many judges get more upset about cell phone use in the courtroom then real injustices right before their eyes. Kudos. I wish many more judges had your courage.

If coos can be out of work for killing some one with pay until the outcome is solved so why not a judge he just speaking his feelling.

Why should a Judge get telling the truth get suspended without pay, when Police are out here murdering people and still getting paid? What type of system is this?What message are you Sending?Unacceptable!
I support Judge Stevens. How hypocritical of the judicial system to reprimand an individual who's standing for what's right.

The Judge was correct. An all-white jury does not reflect the spirit or the letter of the law when a "jury of peers" is what's called for. It looks like he is being persecuted for telling the truth. That's not surprising, but it is ugly and...racist.

the system has always been a racist one excluding black jurors is not a juror of your peers having a juror of all white people is very racist and i am glad the judge called them out on it
