May more in the legal profession display similar courage to do what is right. Our legal system is broken. Who better to fix it then those who serve in it. Proud of Judge Stevens!!!

This professional judge, Olu Stevens, is standing firm and staying strong for what he knows within himself that just and true. He has taken a stand - positive and progressive one to use his position to bring to the forefront the unequal rights and justice that blacks (including non-white citizens) in America are faced with on a daily basis. This has taken a true and moral stand and his action should not be penalized for doing what he as a judge who has taken an oath to uphold the equal rights and justice for all without regard to race. Shame on the evil doers in America for its immoral treatment of Judge Olu Stevens. I am a black woman conscious Canadian, and I am in full agreement and support with Judge Olu Stevens.

This is just plain wrong. A pivotal part of the legal system is that one is to be tried by a jury of their peers. Yet time and time again, we see predominantly or 100% white juries being used in cases with non-white defendants. This an issue over this nation, one which is even more mind-boggling in locales with a predominantly non-white population. Juries need to reflect the makeup of the local community and contain people who are of a similar racial and socioeconomic background as the defendant,
