The Honorable Mr. Stevens is the epitome of unmitigated justice. I salute you sir!

Wanting to partake in the fight against social injustice. Knowing there's sooo much more to be done, but every little bit helps. Highest Respect to those out there putting up a fight physically in the flesh.

Hundreds of thousands of white perpetrators/murderers have gone free at the hands of white judges, but now that a black judge gives probation to a black perpetrator instead of jail time, he needs to be disbarred...I don't think so.

We, as a people of color, need outspoken judges that are aware and see the many discrepancies that have plagued us in the judicial system for years! To remove this judge for dismissing an entire jury that was in no way a representative of the defendant only magnifies the injustice that has been handed down through the judicial system for generations.

Keep standing Judge Stevens. We will continue to support you.

Good that he spoke up. How is a Black man to get a fair trial and the jury's all white? No, glad he put a stop to that.

If justice is truly what our system strives to impart then no person should be penalized for bringing attention to an issue that impedes it. In fact, one should be heralded for their efforts to ensure it. The actions being taken against Judge Stevens only serve as a distraction from the real issue.

HE IS FOLLOWING THE LAW LIKE HE IS SUPPOSE TO. WE ARE SUPPOSE TO HAVE A JURY OF OUR PEERS. HOW CAN AN ALL WHITE JURY BE OBJECTIVE TO A BLACK DEFENDANT.

It's a shame that even today we, as Black people, get unequal and unfair treatment. We've never had rights and true freedom, and it often feels as if there's no where for us to turn. But I'm glad to see that this man is truly a man of fairness and truth. So seldom we find that in our government. Thank you, Judge Stevens.

Our juries should reflect the makeup of the larger community. What does a jury of our peers mean in practice?

Keep up the wonderful work, Judge Stevens! They're trying to silence us, but we're still very much a force to be reckoned with. We're tired of being mistreated and finally, when we have someone who isn't afraid to stand up for our rights, they try and keep him quiet? Unacceptable!
