Don't cancel them both I enjoy all the attention our neighbourhood gets and I live almost in the middle of it. I am lucky enough to have a driveway though! Maybe only one fair not two. I think you could get rid of the Grand Prix festival and keep the flavors of Monkland.

When I lived in the Plateau, I made a point of heading to NDG for the Monkland Festival- it's got great energy, solid vendors, and real community feeling. We're keeping that tradition going now that we've moved to Pointe Claire! It's a fantastic reason to head into town!

Excellent for the community and for Montreal. Learn from your mistakes Montreal and don't fight the wonderful things that change, youth, gentrification and bringing people together do.

What an amazing Festival where it brings all ages, races, and families together! Helps to support the amazing local business on the street and supports many foundations as well!, It always gives back to the community, what take that away?

This is an incredible festival! Something beautiful has been created here. It is a shame that the few individuals in opposition choose to not see this. The festival is all about the community, Monkland, and culture. The Monkland festivals are all about Monkland!!! While everyone is entitled to their opinion...they should be based on all the facts...not solely on misguided assumptions and ignorance. It's really sad that the minority of people with complaints are trying to destroy the festivals and in fact their own community in doing so. It is my hope that these people come to their senses. I 1000% support the Monkland festivals and local businesses.

The street festival is fantastic! The enormous amount of happy people who attend and enjoy the festival each year far outweigh the slim minority of pearl clutching naysayers.

Goodness sakes,,, that Festival been there since and it's nice,,, it only happens once a year on SUMMERTIME,,, children's are even having fun, the stores and the restaurants,,,, so pathetic that some unhappy people are complaining, they can't even appreciate.....

I always help out and love seeing people coming together cause of the festival!
