Great event!

It's one of the best festivals that we look forward to going to. Great atmosphere and hope it continues. What a shame that we need to have a petition to have it continue because of a few disgruntled businesses. What a way to spoil a good thing !

This festival is amazing I love going there every time they have it. I love NDG

I attend every year and see no reason what so ever to make changes it's a festival that everyone should enjoy.

I support the two events that take place on Monkland. It gives me the feeling my area is alive and energetic. I cannot understand how there can be made a fuss about such enjoying week ends... If you don't like it, just take the opportunity to spend your week end elsewhere and come back the following Monday. I wouldn't miss the street and the pleasure to stroll along Monkland on those days ! Please don't take it personal, but stay young, be happy and join the gathering !

I attend the Monkland festivals every year and really enjoy them. I don't see why anything should change to cater to a few disgruntled citizens. I am sure that a majority of people in the community also enjoy and support these events. Perhaps those who are disenchanted by the activities should practice some tolerance during two weekends in a year.

This is a wonderful event that brings the community together and stimulates the local market and economy as well as the arts. Win, win, win.

Please don't take away our wonderful street festivals. Most of us love it.

The street fests are the best part of summer here. As a monkland village resident I can say that. Street closure isnt an issue as everything is accesible on foot

Please allow these festivals to continue!

My experiences with the Monkkand Festival gave been awesome. It's family oriented and fun for the whole family. Even our canine members . The shows at might are entertaining and keeping us close to home abd our neighbourhood. What could be so bad. It's called COMMUNITY COMMUNITY COMMUNITY

Such a fun event for the local community and Montreal as a whole...keep it!!!

Please keep the festival going. It's a wonderful event for everyone in the city to enjoy!

Monkland Fest is a must-keep & the best reason for ex-NDGers, now-West Islanders to return to NDG to support local restaurants, bars & merchants.
