The aim of this petition is to give Black Sabbath fans a chance to show their support of Tony Iommi in the face of the recent lawsuit filed against him by former Black Sabbath vocalist Ozzy Osbourne. That Ozzy is claiming that his case will propel the other 2 "original" members to follow suit and claim equal share in the name (which they relinquished when the band were at the nadir of their popularity) is ridiculed by the fact that he is claiming a 50% stake in the name! I also believe that as Iommi was the sole bearer of the Sabbath legacy throughout difficult times, he should be recognised as such. Ozzy has made countless millions from an immensely successful solo career and TV career, and this just reeks of greed and opportunism from his camp. Trust us Ozzy, we still love you, don't let this further tarnish your reputation. Tony - i hope this petition will demonstrate to all concerned the feelings of all true Sabbath fans around the world!
