Rochelle Duffy saved me when I was struggling with serious personal problems in my sophomore year. She volunteered to be my advisor and in that role she went to bat for me. She made my experience at SRC possible.

Rochelle was a fundamental fixture of campus during my time at Simon’s Rock. She is a part of some of my fondest memories of being a rocker and she went above and beyond to support me during one of the most emotionally challenging times of my college experience. Rochelle made me feel safe and supported when I needed it most.

I left simon’s rock years ago ( 2017) and I still remember how supportive and helpful Rochelle had been to many of my friends. She gave individualized and empathetic aid to those who came to her and even those who didn’t but clearly needed the help.

Rochelle’s contributions to Simon’s Rock are far beyond the ability to be described. A selfless individual, hardworking and overall an example of how far being a decent human being goes in a world like this.

Rochelle was consistently there for me throughout my sophomore years. I would not have made it through that year or graduated if she hadn't helped me get through the ACE credit program. I would consistently see her comforting students who weren't able to find friend groups or cliques in their first semesters and she really is the heart of the campus.
