Glad to see a council willing to go against the vocal minority. The silent majority is silent mostly because it's pointless to argue with people who've already made up their minds. We don't write letters to the editor or join rallies or ask for referendums.
I'm happy with the direction council is taking Penticton.

I think this is wonderful, our children (and ourselves) will benefit from this greatly, not to mention the tourists AND the jobs it will create to build and to operate. I sign YES!!!

It's the retired people mostly that don't want a change, but all the young adults and family's and kids want it, so the only problem is the park gets smaller... It's not like we don't have tons of wild life around us that small amount of greenery loss as people were complaint about, is not a big deal. In face the more water in the area with the water slides I think is probably a better chance of penticton ton not getting burnt by the forest fires around us.
