Dr.Wolfe was pushed out of Stanford for valiantly defending the rights of victims of sexual predation at Stanford Medical School by the sexual predator defender and protector Stanford University Deputy Counsel Thomas Fenner. Meanwhile sexual predators are awarded Emeritis status by university counsel via his sub rosa meddling. Enough is enough.
36 years after my IM residency with Elliott I am still telling his stories and trying to live up to his teachings. My view of medical practice was shaped in the residency he ran at Kaiser Santa Clara. He was, and continues to be, one of the greatest inspirations of my life. I can never thank Elliott enough.
Not only was Dr. Wolfe a stunning mentor - he literally saved my life during my medical residency at Kaiser Santa Clara
He is an amazing teacher and physician who left a positive and inspiring imprint in all of us at Stanford
Dr Wolfe made me a better doctor. Stanford is losing their best teacher its a total disgrace.

After 30 years of practice, I can look back on my career and recognize that no one has inspired me in my practice medicine like Dr. Wolfe. I still only can aspire to achieve the combination of compassion, thoughtfulness and genuine care that this man embodies. For those of us fortunate enough to be in his presence on the wards, on rounds or in clinic, we know.
