Dr. Slone is definitely an asset to the USF community. As a first year, he has spent hours teaching us the proper physical exam technique. He definitely helps us build the foundation to be the best physicians we can be.

Dr. Slone has been the epitome of an excellent educator. The fact that he is "gone" and USF MCOM still utilizes his presentations to teach students, speaks volumes to the fact that his role it pivotal to our medical education.

I was absolutely shocked to learn about Dr. Slone's firing. I cannot imagine him deserving anything other than praise and recognition as one of USF MMCOM's finest educators.

Dr. Slone is without a doubt one of the best teaching staff available at USF Morsani, and to simply let him go would be an obvious loss to the medical school, especially so with the recent departures of many other senior staff members.

Dr. Slone is truly a caring physician and educator. His loss from USF MCOM would be detrimental to current and future medical students. His passion for medicine is evident and I learn the most from about patient care from his doctoring sessions. We need Dr. Slone!

Dr. Slone has probably been the most supportive, caring, and best person that I have met and had the privilege of learning from while at USF MCOM. His sudden departure is distressing and confusing when he has been such a fundamental part of students' learning.

Dr. Slone is one of a kind, his experience and dedication to student learning is unsurpassed

Ironically, last Fall (2013) I remember thinking, "What would USF MCOM do without Dr. Slone? He is such a fantastic teacher AND clinician!" I wondered what we would do because I just didn't see how anyone could fill his shoes. I have learned so much from his teachings. I was surprised to learn that his contract was not renewed in the Spring (2014). Thank you, Dr. Slone, for being a truly great teacher.
