I’ve listened to hours of testimony. If the LS board or superintendent vote to terminate, it will be unjust. The children and community deserve better. And I will continue to vote for board change in elections- if you get this one wrong.

Joe Oswald is an outstanding educator, and he made a difference in my life and my education many years ago. He has great character, integrity, professionalism, he is inclusive of all, and an all around great guy.

You can't fire this great teacher for following policy. There was no malicious intent in his using this word. It would be abhorrent for him to be fired while the student received 1 day of ISS.

What he is going through is the definition of ridiculous. LSSD should be ashamed of themselves! What is our world coming to when you can not discipline a child by school rules without being accused of racist comments!! Prayers to Coach Oswald!!!

I am heartbroken. I do not know Coach personally, but have friends who do. Everything is positive. I watch both parts of the school board meeting. I can not believe we are spending time and money on this situation. I pray for Coach and his health during this time. I am 99.9% sure he will be teaching again in LS. I just worried how this has impacted him personally. LS is a great school district because of their teachers. Dr. Buck you made a huge mistake. I sure hope you apologize in July to this man and his family. I am in tears. Why wait. Tell the man now. Dragging the situation is hurting his family. I sure hope nothing bad happens or the district would be sued for every penny. Mental health is a “real” thing. I am thankful he is a believer. Without God’s help I’m not sure he would have the strength. Praying hard on my knees for Coach.

This is ridiculous! I can't believe I'm even signing a petition for this but yet here we are. You better tell me exactly what my child said word for word and that does not reflect on the person repeating it to staff or parents. This is absolutely asinine!
