Come I people, wake up. This city needs more shelter beds and nobody, especially those who are needing this support, should have to travel a long distance to find one. NIMBY, let's get real and see that the potential users of these beds are already in 'your backyard' and in some cases may even be sleeping there. Let's help keep people safe!

I live around the corner from a big group home on Delaware, and have never heard of any problems. I welcome all kinds of people to live in our neighborhood.

We need more shelter beds. We lost 124 men's beds at the Hope Shelter recently. This is a start but it still isn't enough.

I am a home owner in this neighbourhood and I support the development of this shelter. We badly need more shelter beds in this city. I am one of many people in this neighbourhood that welcomes the opening of this shelter.

No reason for anyone to be homeless in Canada. If we can help other countries we should be able to take care of our own as well and first.
