Supporters of the CONC Men's Shelter (850/854 Bloor St. West)

Based on my experience, this shelter will improve the Neighborhood by getting people off the streets and into stable housing and work.

Although I recently moved away for school, I lived in this neighbourhood for 7 years until this July and it makes me happy knowing that the inclusive, vibrant part of Toronto that I loved living in (and would hope to move back to when I'm done school) is putting in such a compassionate use. Everyone deserves a safe place to sleep.

This is a much needed 30 bed men's shelter.I am a Shaw/Christie/Dupont (Wychcrest Ave) resident & have been for 20 years. This organization does excellent work.

It's unfortunate, but we need places like this.

I live in the area and support the rights of homeless and underhoused people to get shelter in our neighbourhood. Healthy communities work to meet the needs of vulnerable people, recognize them as "us," respect their dignity and not just tell them to go elsewhere.

My daughter goes to school in this neighbourhood. I live a bit further west, and there are shelters where I live. I support CONC in opening this facility and providing shelter to residents of our communities in need.

Much needed in the community big supporter of making sure that those who are less fortunate gets an equal opportunity in life and has a safe space to call home until they are able to accomplish their goals. CONC as a new comer 5yrs ago your drop-in program and staff has done wonders to support me through first volunteering, referrals to community services and eventually being successful in owning my own business thank you, thank you thank you.
