Michel Kalombo fled the Democratic Republic of Congo in fear of his life. His family are involved in politics seeking true democracy and many of them have gone \'missing\'. Michel escaped and came to work in the UK. He works locally and has paid full income tax. Michel does not claim benefit. He is engaged to a girl from Hyde and they plan to marry when the law allows. IF MICHEL RETURNS TO DRC HE MAY BE MURDERED.

Reaching this level of support feels heavy because it reminds me of how many people recognize the danger Michel is in. It is exhausting work to keep fighting this battle every single day. Seeing this response keeps me going when I want to quit.

Always the same with the home office. Punishing the people doing the right thing. Let the man stay with his family.

My heart breaks for him and his fiance. They just want to build a normal life together. Please dont deport him back to that nightmare.

Total disgrace. Guy is trying to make a honest living and the government wants to ship him off to danger. Leave him alone.

He works hard and pays his taxes like everyone else. Why send him back to be hurt when he has a life here now? Let him stay!
