This petition is going to presented to our local MP and/or the Foreign Secretary whom we have already contacted to help save Michelle Jordan from deportation. Michelle has lived in this country for nearly ten years now, she has been to high school and college here. When Michelle was applying for University she realised her passport was missing with her stamp for her indefinate visa. Michelle has re-applied numerous times but our Home Office won't give her a new stamp. We think this is really unfair when they grant thousands of illegal immigrants permission to stay and further more give them benefits when all Michelle wants to do is carry on with her life and her job.
I have spent the past several days drafting formal correspondence to the Home Office regarding Michelle's status. The individual stories and experiences you have shared in the comments section continue to provide necessary perspective for this appeal.

This girl has been here forever. She literally grew up here and this is her home. Send her back where? She knows no one there.
