The school board finally backed down and approved The Tides Community Charter School. Those bureaucrats thought they could ignore us but 957 signatures forced their hand. We won this fight for our children and now we keep a sharp eye on them to ensure they follow through.

LA needs more options like this. My kids are bored in their current schools and this sounds like a great fresh start for our neighborhood.
we need this school open asap. the public schools here are failing our kids and ignoring the human side of education.
finally some good news for the kids in this area.
PLEASE approve this! our children deserve a better way to learn than the current system provides. this is so necessary.

The existing schools are just test factories. We need something creative for these grades.
