With all of the attention on childhood obesity and the decrease in the amount of recess time during the school day, this should definately be a priority. I hope the plans include a track.

To put it simply, sharing is good for the community. Especially since the community's tax dollars go towards the school and its facilities.

As a coach for 17 kids on the Soccer On the Hill U12 boys team, I can't tell you how many times we had to scramble this fall to seek practice fields. Also, sharing fields with 3 or 4 other teams at the same time does not allow the kids to develop their skills properly. The demand is there. The fields are sorely needed.
