We, the members of Riverside Hose Company No. 4, proudly serving the Tarrytown community for 125 years, are reaching out to ask for your support.
As part of our 125th Anniversary celebration, we are planning a community carnival this September in the lot next to the ballpark by the Tarrytown Boat Club. This event is both a celebration of our legacy and a fundraiser to support vital volunteer fire services.
Unfortunately, Village Administrator Richard Slingerland, Mayor Karen Brown, and members of the Village Board, including Trustee Becky McGovern, have denied our request, citing concerns about the potential impact on local residents. We believe this family-friendly community event can bring joy and pride to our village and hope you feel the same.
We ask for your support by signing our petition in favor of allowing this important event to proceed. Your support sends a message of appreciation to your first responders, and helps continue the tradition of service that has protected Tarrytown for over a century.

I have seen first hand what the Tarrytown Fire department has done for the community. You are very lucky to have such a great group of people come together to help protect your property and save the lives of your family and friends.
The board of trustees should be ashamed of themselves, you need stand behind and support your Volunteer Fire Department. Without them your taxes would triple!!
They should let them they closed Main Street for recently for a event

These guys are out there at 3am when nobody else is. Let them have their carnival already its just one weekend!
