Did you know that YOU as a tax payer subsidizes a majority of Walmart workers in the form of public assistance like food stamps, Medicaid and housing? each store in the Walmart chain costs the tax payer $420,000.00 a year, and more than $2.5 BILLION dollars nation wide... why? because Walmart cuts our hours to keep us off of the benefits rolls which they control.... health care, disability, life insurance, the list goes on. it is TRULY an abomination that the largest employer in THE WORLD treats their employees like this. so ask yourself...what is the TRUE cost of those low prices? its high time that the American public realizes this and what they are REALLY getting for their money. Things have gone down hill at Walmart over the last 8 or 9 years and it’s unbelievable that a company as big as this and as wealthy as it is cannot treat their work force better than this. For myself, for other associates, for customers and future generations of Walmart workers and customers this is why I do what I do.
