The buskers give the harbourfront character. This was a factor in our decision to return to Victoria for a second year.

Victoria's Harbourfront buskers are part of this city's vibrant heart of tourism. Even as a local, I like to see them perform when I have a change.Like the many restaurants, pubs, attractions, parks, festivals and events, they contribute to what makes this town so special. They deserve a place to perform, where they are able to make a decent living.

Buskers were a huge draw for us when we travelled from Ontario to visit Victoria. Without buskers, there's little to do in Victoria but shop for stuff that you can't fit on the flight home.

As a long time James Bay resident I have enjoyed our buskers for many years. We need them. Not only are they uplifting to locals, they add unique experience to the tourist experience. Let's show them our love.
Because good entertainment is worth it.
