In 2007 @BurgerKingmx used Thirty Seconds To Mars music for a commercial without authorization. Thirty Seconds to Mars then took legal action of violation of copyright against Burger King. These actions represent a considerable outlay in legal fees for the band.
Fans (The Echelon) of Thirty Seconds to Mars, decided to make this petition to show our displeasure and support the band.

I never imagined this many people would actually care about what happened way back in 2007 because nine years is such a long time to keep dragging this out. It really feels like the momentum is shifting now and that the band might actually feel us behind them finally which is just wild to think about.

I was just staring at the screen and watching these names tick up because nine years is such a stupidly long time to wait for justice and we are basically right at the edge of triple digits now. If you have a second please throw this link onto your feed because the more people who see that Burger King cant just take what they want the more noise we can actually make.

Stealing from artists shows Burger King's poor business practices and disregard for artists. Can add it to their disregard for the environment and the health of their customers. Not good enough. I can't support a business that behaves this way. Do the right thing Burger King.

Stealing from an artist I call that disgraceful. The courts taking so long to end this case is ridiculous. The song is clearly heard on the commercial and we need to support the hard work of our artists and not allow big companies to get away with their illegal ways anymore.

I support Thirty Seconds to Mars. this is an outrage that Burger King has not responded. i refuse to eat there (not like i really was b4. being Vegetarian) but i have asked all my friends and family thru social media to not support Burger King.
