I don't understand why people who don't like something think that everyone should dislike it...if you don't like guns, don't shoot them!

This is exactly what is needed in this world. More structured education being made available to young people, on all aspects of firearm ownership and usage.

A sporting club is very much a competition event. Education of firearms was part of every schools education in years past.

I support the Simpson College Gun Club. It is not a danger to anyone and there is no logical reason for it to close.

The shooting sports are a part of our heritage and way of life here in Iowa, and all colleges in Iowa should have it as a part of their college life offerings.

Sports should not be shut down because people are afraid of the tools used in them.

The second amendment allows them to own and use their guns. Don't let a few ignorant, uninformed, dirtbags ruin a good thing.

As both a 32 year educator and administrator as well as an Iowa National Guard member (Ret. Command Sergeant Major, Infantry) and veteran of Afghanistan) I urge your continued support of the Simpson Gun Club. Continued development of proper use of fire arms as well as the safety measures that go with can only help not only all that participate, it also provides a a chance to learn a life long sport of competitive shooting As much as golf, I enjoy the competition of police combat shooting (I am 53) and it is something that my father-in-law enjoys at age 78. These individuals will also be able to recognize those around them not being safe as they hunt or target shoot, which can only help our society. Thank you for reading this and please contact me for any continued conversation or extended conversation as I would happily help in any way I could.
