An organization that helps interested parties learn gun safety and encourages proper education of gun handling only makes sense. It is disappointing that there are those that would oppose this.

I'm a Simpson alumni, as is my father, uncle, aunt, cousin, etc. We have a family history with Simpson. I wish they'd had this club when I was there. A gun is a useful tool, for hunting, sport, and self-defense. Activities like this club prevent accidents by teaching safe handling of firearms. I've not yet had the opportunity to donate to Simpson financially, but I've started one business with others on the way. When the time comes, their decision on this issue will make a difference as to whether I give.

This is a good, and healthy activity. Please do not let the few, no matter how accomplished they are vocally, destroy something that is enjoyed by many. Thank you!

I support the Simpson College Shooting Sports Club and the Scholastic Clay Target Program.
These programs have a positive impact on the students, community and our state.
The safety record is far better than any other college sport with almost any one able to participate in it with out being physically gifted.
