People who are trained on the proper use of guns are the people you should want on your campus. Students practicing gun safety and shooting clay pigeons does not in any way correlate to the gun violence the author of the petition is concerned about. I hope that Simpson College does not succumb to the stupidity of these anti-gun people and goes forth with hiring a coach.

Keep this program open for the students. Teaching safety handling and care will always benefit in greater magnitude than the ignorant censorship with banning. Stop enforcing your fear mongering agenda on people or think that your ways is the right way because it's not.

shooting is a sport that even the handicapped can participate. Last year I witnessed a young lady with one arm practicing shooting clay birds. she hit 5 out of 25 but she was practicing to improve her skills. We need more programs like this.
