My son had Mrs. Marques for 2nd great at Great Oak and I've never met a passionate, dedicated teacher who truly inspired a love of learning for the kids she taught! Danvers was very lucky to have her!

My son never had her as a teacher at highlands but she was always kind to him- the children and parents adore her!

My daughter had Ms. M a few years ago and still talks about how much she loved her. This would be a loss for DPS

My son had Mrs. Marques in 4th at Highlands. She is the sweetest, kindest woman and that goes beyond just being a teacher. She is an amazing teacher and person. Please consider keeping her here in Danvers. She will be one of those teachers that kids remember for a lifetime.

That’s awful . My daughter had such a great experience with her. She now wants to be a 4th grade teacher because of Mrs. Marques.

Mrs. Marques is the most dedicated teacher. She was absolutely the best teacher my daughter Samantha had at Highlands. What a loss to the Danvers School System if her contract is not renewed! Very disappointing to hear Danvers would let such a fantastic teacher go!

Not renewing Mrs. Marques for next year was foolish on Danvers part, and a slap in the face to families who relied on her guidance for our kids during this pandemic.

Alex is a teacher’s teacher. She is constantly sharing resources and learning experiences with new and experienced educators. She is patient and kind with her students and an asset to any classroom community!
