There must be some other ways to help these poor animals. Has anyone brought up fostering to help out the shelter? This is a disgrace I hope in the future there will be better solutions. All lives matter, even animals. They never asked to be born, it's not their fault their owners didn't FIX them. The real problem lies in the owners hands hopefully the shelter and other organizations can come together and resolve this issue.

In the case of animal control, cruelty and protection Prince William county is in the dark ages. Come into the 21 st century!

Just appalling! With a county as large as Prince William we should have a shelter large enough to avoid mass killings such as this.

That is ridiculous that you are putting animals down we understand you dont have the space for the animals. So then make the money I am sure people would be willing to help

No animal deserves to suffer, starve, be in pain, or live a life of complete sadness. Animals have feelings to and should be treated fairly and with respect! ♡

Absolutely appalling. To think there was no alternative. I suspect they took the "easy way". The people responsible should be removed and not allowed contact with animals.

i think there needs to be a new building somewhere you could use to shelter these animals for adoption instead of killing them!

I believe that the reason was a quickly spreading virus, but anyone who has ever visited the shelter knows the facility is inadequate for the population of the county.
