மலேசியாவில் தமிழர்கள் பலவித பிரச்சனைகளை எதிர்நோக்கிக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். ஆட்சியில் அமர்ந்தால் மக்களின் பிரச்சனைகளை சரி செய்ய வேண்டுமே தவிர, தமிழனின் அடி மடியிலேயே கை வைக்கக் கூடாது. தமிழனுக்கு உதவ எவனும் முன் வரமாட்டான், தமிழன்தான் தமிழனுக்கு ஆதரவு அளிக்க வேண்டும், உதவ வேண்டும். போகிற போக்கைப் பார்த்தால் வரும் காலங்களில் தைப்பூசத்தையே நடத்த விட மாட்டார்கள் போலிருக்கிறதே. உலகையே ஆண்டான் தமிழன் என்பதெல்லாம் போய் இப்போது ஒவ்வொரு நாட்டிலும் சிறுக சிறுக ஒட்டிக்கொண்டிருக்கிறது நமது சமூகம். சமூகத்தை ஒருங்கிணைப்பதை விட்டு விட்டு பிளவுபடுத்திக் கொண்டிருக்கிறார்கள்.

As a Malaysian and a proud resident of Penang, I strongly support PHEB to have the Golden Chariot on Thaipusam festival week. This festival belongs to we the local Malaysia Indians and it does not belong to the chetti fellows. We decide and not them. Since they have their own chetti kavadi celebration on the eve of Thaipusam and might well have your own chariot procession for the chetties... we will have our own celebration. I am so proud of PHEB's brave move although it took them so long to organise this chariot of our own. All these years our money generated from the Thaipusam has been stolen from us by these chetties. And about time we are putting a stop to THESE CRIMINALS. Kudos to PHEB. VETRIVEL. VETRIVEL VETRIVEL.
