WE THE UNDERSIGNED support the continuation of the Ohana Kuleana Community Garden (OKCG). This garden enables students at Riverview Elementary School and community members to learn how to grow food and to share that knowledge (and its results) with the community at large. OKCG has operated successfully for 9 years demonstrating its worth and value to natural science education, food security, permaculture and sustainable, organic gardening principles, outdoor recreation, and intergenerational interaction through various volunteer activities.OKCG should continue to operate and thrive for many more seasons to come!
