I have been hearing from so many of you who remember playing in the old fields before they were cleared out. It is heartening to talk with neighbors who see the same potential I do for putting this vacant land to good use for our community.

Seeing this much energy behind the disc golf course is incredible because I know how much my neighbors would love a usable space for the sport. This momentum proves that our community realizes the potential of that FEMA land.

Sure enjoy having two courses in Charles City and a Nice one in Mason City would get used by out of town players for sure.
It would be nice to see a course installed that isn't right in the middle of the busiest part of East Park. It'd be safer for park goers, and much easier to play for disc golfers.
Disc golf courses provide a free activity for entire families to enjoy. The club that forms always works to benefit the community and when they host tournament it brings in lots of money from outside into the town hosting the event. Everyone will win here!
This course will be a great use of the flood buyout land. Disc golf is low cost to play, fun for all ages and all experience levels, and is a great way to get people outdoors and active. This will be great for Mason City.
This is a great opportunity to expand the sport! A nicer course will draw more interest from our youth! There is a lot worse things they could be doing!!!!
Haven't played the new one but was there for helping getting it going hope to see more of it gotta go throw

great use of otherwise wasted green space. Good for getting communities out and active, and keeps the land used by and maintained. It also helps prevent other illegal activities from taking place in the area.
