This is something that should have already been in place. Why on earth would it not be? No downsides.

Hard to believe that this isn't already an acceptable way to provide these services. What a blessing to many who cannot access a traditional salon.

I think that Amberetta Anderson is awesome and is doing and wants to do more to help others. I've known Amber for about 11 years and she's awesome!!!

Access to safe, reliable transportation remains a major barrier for many in our community — especially residents of places like Veterans Restoration Quarters, Riverside Village Homes (a group home in WNC), and Mountain Vista Recovery. For them, even a basic trip to a hair appointment can be logistically difficult or entirely out of reach. But a haircut is more than just grooming — it’s a powerful act of self-care. It restores dignity, boosts confidence, and fosters a sense of normalcy and pride. Everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, and cared for. A mobile salon would directly bring these essential services to those who need them most — providing not only haircuts, but also human connection, empowerment, and the chance to be treated with the dignity they deserve. With the right support, this vision can be a reality.

I am a property manager for 21 disabled people who are not able to get out and get to a salon or barber shop for a haircut or anything that a salon offers. I am all for a mobile salon!
