The feedback regarding the proposed shelter location has revealed a genuine need for safe housing within our community. I am currently coordinating with local representatives to ensure that our collective goal remains a priority during their upcoming meetings.

All this opposition in this town is crazy. They were approved to open a shelter and now the powers that be are back peddling. Open the shelter for the homeless. Everyone needs a roof and a warm place.
we Need this Mission because theres alots of people though out Menominee and Marinette and all over in Need of a place too live for the Winter these people cant be out in the streets theres already people sleeping under bridges and also in parks as well and we cant have that I rather see these people in a warm place like the Mission for the Winter instread
I support the Abundant Life Mission. They were there when I needed help to get me back on my feet and give me hope.
I am the Homeless Project Coordinator based out of the Iron Mtn VA. This shelter is a much needed resource for the U.P.!
I think the old catholic school is a good place for the homeless I don't think they should be tucked away hidden someplace This is reality

Pastor Dave does an outstanding job and just wants to ensure our homeless population is taken care of, especially during the winter months.

They have had a homeless shelter at the current church location with no problems from the neighbors. People, have compassion on the less fortunate. They aren't trying to open a drug house - just a safe place to sleep for homeless people.
