The school board has officially confirmed that there will be no cuts or realignments to the Marion FFA program. I am incredibly grateful to the 603 people who added their names to this effort to protect such a vital experience for our students. We will remain attentive to future budget …
I fully support the Marion FFA Programs. I do not wish to have any cuts, realignments, adjustments or reductions now or in the future. This program brings value to our students that they can’t receive in other ways through high school. We support the Ag teachers and the program they have worked tirelessly to build.
We are approaching five hundred signatures and this momentum is essential for our upcoming meeting with the school board. Please encourage your contacts to join this effort now so we reach that mark before our formal presentation.

The momentum surrounding our efforts for the Marion FFA is building as we approach one hundred signatures. Please take a moment to bring this request to the attention of those within our community who value these agricultural programs. Maintaining this progress is essential to demonstrate the strength of our collective position.

I fully support Marion FFA. This program is a legacy in our district. Maybe it’s the administration that we need to be looking at making some changes in. Not the FFA program that is one of the most successful outcomes of Marion ISD.

Don’t mess with Marion FFA! In the ag mechanics department I learned valuable skills such as welding , grinding and physics building projects. Those skills I will use for a lifetime!

I taught 5th Grade for 12 years . I saw, firsthand what an impact FFA had on my students throughout their lives. It would be tragic to reduce or remove FFA from rural schools. I pray that this decision will be carefully considered.

Having had two children that have gone through Marion FFA. I can, without a doubt, say that they both learned valuable leadership skills along with building their confidence to handle life after high school.

FFA at Marion was a huge part of my life when I was in high school. I was active on the parliamentary procedure team, raising animals, etc and would hate to see significant changes to this program.

Proud Marion FFA Alumni; obtained an undergraduate degree in agriculture that was paid for through FFA scholarships. I obtained numerous life skills from the program to include parliamentary procedure, public speaking abilities, responsibility in caring for livestock animals, and more. Without FFA, I would not be successful within my professional career today. I respectively request for the program to remain, and to not realign/adjust in order to meet administrative goals. The students are whom will suffer, and they should be the priority.

With the strong history of the AG program why would current administration want to make changes. This same superintendent oversaw a bond construction to make improvements to AG buildings.
