the light house project is a vital asset to the local community. Having used the project my self I found the project to be useful tool in accessing all information in which I required to locate further employment and information I found difficult otherwise in solving myself.
with the CBA now being more difficult to access and disabled people also finding it difficult at time s to locate and resolve information and help in the community the light house project provides this assistance to all.
the light house project is also a area of local communication and a place of feeling secure, the project is accessible by people with learning difficulties who feel they can asccess the project and meet up with friends and colleagues in a safe secure manner without at any time feeling intimidated.
the light house project is at present accessable to all members of the community, the premisis in which it currently resides in ae local to public transport and local lnks to the motorways if needed.,
thr town is within walking distance for anyone wishing to take a stroll to the local shopping area..
I am a registered Nurse and at present I am experiencing a temporary disability with my sight
having lived near to the project I find the staff of the project to be helpful and as informative to all as could be, having difficulty with a sensory loss and having to come out of work the staff provide support and assistance helping in reducing anxiety and depression, the staff within the project are very approachable and supportive in any which way they can be,
the light house project provides space and time for othe members of the community to arrange meetings for activities to the young and retired within the community.
I f the light house project was to locate to other premesis the local community would may be become lost with in a means of reaching and ful filling the daily activities they currently enjoy doing in a safe and protective manner.

the best thing I like about coming to the lighthouse project (as well s the fact that at present its still in Middleton where I live)
When I use the PCs there - I can make any amendments to my cv or any of my employment docs on my memory stick where as at the job centre this isn't possible -I can use the stick but cant amend any docs- very friendly atmosphere!!!! helpful!!

All I request/suggest -please please stay in Middleton!!!!!-wherever you have to re locate to !!!!-I love it there

The people of Middleton who come to use the Lighthouse Project for it's facilities of Computors for Jobsearch and support/help like Foodbank, etc.
It would be devistating if the Lighthouse Project was no more and many people would miss it.

The lighthouse project do a fantastic job , which helps so many people in the community and saves the council so much money. It is only reasonable that they are given the ability to carry this service . At the moment they face eviction from there current location . There are hundreds of people who rely on this place and the huge variety of opportunities they offer .People in power need to act !!!!!!!

The Lighthouse Project is an amazing place and the work it does is life changing for many people. It is vital we find a permanent base and continue to make a difference. Middleton would be a much poorer place (in many ways) without the Lighthouse.
