Wonderful work desperately needed in the community

This is a very much needed project which helps so many people in the community. There are no other services like this one available in the local area. It's dedicated staff provide both practical and moral support to people in many different ways. It helps to get people back into work, learn vital English skills and other useful teaching. Please help find them a permanent building. Thanks and God bless.

It's about time Rochdale Council got involved in finding premises for this project as they are doing things the council should be doing anyway. This has been a very successful voluntary organisation for a number of years and they don't get any help from council as its always the same community groups who get awarded grants

These guys helped me when i was out of work last year. Really need to keep the Lighthouse Project in Middleton.

I have only become familiar with this organisation in the last two months and I am impressed with how supportive and encouraging the staff and volunteers are towards this local community.

The Lighthouse Project needs all our support. In the same space we have Dial and a Foodbank. Are we to lose all of this. Others would move in if a permanent space were found. The cost of losing these facilties won't be great to those who have sheds loads of cash. The cost to the community will be great and who's gonna pay for it ? It won't be Rochdale or the CCG. Therefore we'll lose all of this and more. Let's not lose it. Sign the petition

How shortsighted RMBC that they will let a service go that doesn't cost them any money Does everything have to revolve around Rochdale what about Middleton and Heywood ?

The Lighthouse Project provides a safe and welcoming space for people to come and get help and support in a friendly way. It is open to everyone and there is no pressure on you to do anything, the team just want to help you get on.
