Rodeo, 4H, Farmers, FFA, Agricultural activity’s and events are open to everyone and anyone to participate in if you and your family choose to do so. It’s an amazing family event by wonderful people. There are no regulations that only certain people can be part of it as implied from a certain group. Research, join, find out your information!! This is very important to our kids and future generations!!

Rodeo is the best thing for a kid! Teaches responsibility and care for animals, teaches comraderie, teaches how to lose and how to win.

Rodeos don’t see color, they see grit, they see hard work, partnership and integrity.

Keep Rodeo alive! I have 3 young girls whom all participate in youth rodeo, youngest 3 and oldest 7. I can say it has boosted their self esteem, they have made great friends, and we have met wonderful people. All these kids are so genuine and respectful. It would be a shame to see such a great sport taken away from our youth, where some of the best kids are being raised.

Rodeo teaches our youth so much more than schools ever will. They start learning responsibility, respect, accountability, and compassion at such a young age. They grow up to be the backbone of this country, because they are taught hard work, dedication, and loyalty by the time they are 5. We need this sport to continue for our youth. Rodeo kids have more passion than any other kids you’ll meet. Please keep this alive for us!

Please keep funding our fair! Due to it being a free fair, ALL residents of Johnson county & other communities are able to enjoy & learn about agriculture, cooking, crafting, speaking, and showmanship.

Rodeo is a cultural thing, just like football, soccer, pollo, hunting, fishing, milking cows and I could go on and on. Where does the racist flag get dropped. If someone keeps raising the stupid thing it is always going to be an issue. There are plenty of black people in every sport they want to be in. Having horses and cattle is a way of life. Without them a lot of its would not be were we are today. It's time to bury the racist flag and if you don't like it leave.

We have several ethnic groups in our area and they all have a chance to participate in 4H, FFA, and Rodeo. Several do participate. It's all about what the child and parents choose to do.

Anyone can rodeo. Most welcoming group of folks I’ve ever met. It’s not like they ask other races to stay out - come join in the fun! This article is divisive and counterproductive. Shame.

4-H is inclusive to all races. 4-H turns out more leaders and responsible adults than any other organization out there.
