Support the block grant for the JC Ag Association & continue the Family Rodeo

4H n Rodeo is a huge part of my boys (5) learning process in life. Some show animals, other build structures ,take pictures, and merely help work the concessions. I'm afraid my children wouldn't be the confident, kind hearted ,hard workers they are without the experience they have had being involved in such a family oriented organization! As the rest of the world is falling further and further away from community and family , 4H & rodeo organizations continue to work harder at bringing us back together!

Love the Rodeos great for kids.

This is the biggest lie ever! We have rodeoed for many years with every race. Rodeo is probably one if the few sports that race doesn't play a part. Everyone is welcome and everyone participates.

We need to support our kid so we don't need to support more jails.

Rodeo people have more respect and care for their animals then most!

I live in Johnson County and have gone to the fair since my childhood. I now enjoy taking my sons to the fair.

Leave this people alone and let them continue doing what they love.

Support our kids activities!!

This grant is very important to the kids and community and surrounding community’s. please fund it. Kids are our future and they love their animals.

Fund youth and community events so we don't have to fund prisons!

My children and grandchildren have been in rodeo for over 20 yrs.. it is multi cultural and good for all families regardless of race.. it teaches work ethic, commitment and good family values..

I rodeo. And am in full support of having other kids get the chance to rodeo as well.

This is nuts!! I support all Ag and Rodeo events. And let it be known it's NOT all White kids doing these activities!!! That's just ridiculous to think that!

I hope that the sport of rodeo will live on for as long as can be! I am here to support from WA as much as possible!!

This is a family tradition for a lot of families and is not outdated. Why don’t you focus on taking drugs out of the community instead of taking away a livelyhood that keeps kids out of trouble.

Please do your research about nation wide youth rodeo before lying about it being a racial thing. You have no idea or concept of youth rodeo in America . Why does a race have anything to do with this . Do your research

Rodeo is for all people who are interested! Watch a pro rodeo and you will see this. 4H is for all. Those who participate in rodeo love their animals, land and country.

Rodeo animals in general are extremely well cared for. These animals are valuable, so why would any of us abuse them. My daughters' barrel horses are their best friends and very spoiled. I make a living doing therapy for bucking bulls and horses...making sure that these athletes are in top condition. Also, we have another youth rodeo association based in Iowa...we teach our children respect, endurance, animal husbandry, and tradition. We have members who are not white. We also have female bull riders, bronc riders, bull fighters, and judges. We are an INCLUSIVE community that does not judge on race, gender, status, or financial backgroud. Rodeo contestants are judged on effort and merit. Animal cruelty does exist in this world and I wish this group would focus their efforts their instead of creating false allegations directed at a place where no problem exists.
