Support the block grant for the JC Ag Association & continue the Family Rodeo

Keep the family rodeo.

I would invite them to any youth/adult rodeo that I have been a part of my entire life and let them see how well the animals are cared for.

Rodeo is NOT animal abuse get your facts straight spend a weekend with rodeo families!

Keep kids rodeo going it’s the best thing in the world for them!

8 Seconds of work had to get

The animals in rodeo are athletes and treated as such. While there are bad apples every now and then rodeo animals are treated with kindly and are well taken care of and are not put through anything they can't handle and there are rules in place specifically to keep the animals safe. Taking away this grant could potentially take away opportunities for so many kids and young adults in the community.

Youth rodeo is a very important sport any help to keep this event going I will support

Kids need the structure and responsibilities that taking care of a living animal provides. They also need goals to work toward which is what 4H/FFA and county fairs provide

This is a ridiculous demand!! If you give into this, what will be next? No animals in the barns?

4-h is for everyone

The most character building activity for kids is rodeo and 4H activities.

Anyone with an ounce of education behind rodeos and the animals used in them would know that most of these animals live more lavish and cush lifestyles than their owners. This is ridiculous. The Johnson Co Ag Assoc needs and deserves this funding!

Agriculture is needed, this is where our food comes from. Rodeo is part of the ranching life. Keep fairs and rodeo strong in your state

Keep the 4h funded

This is rediculous. Those of us that own animals/livestock spend more on them and take better care of them than we do ourselves.

So stupid to take this away from the kids. It's not a kids rodeo, it's just rodeo. They have different age groups in all sports, rodeo is a sport.

I know a leader within the FFA Johnson County, Mary Ellen Wall, who would never harm animals or let children abuse animals. Animals are a great source of responsibility for kids. Please don’t allow the negative claims be trusted and work with the FFA leaders. They are parents who spend a lot of time with their children. Please!

Rodeo and at programs are important to our youth. It teaches them to respect animals, responsibility, and sportsmanship.

This is a powerful tool to help our youth develop self esteem a solid work ethic self confidence and and attitude of if at first you don’t succeed try try try again. Please support this grant and keeps kids off brain washing electronics
