These are all such good programs for youth that need our continued support

Rodeo is an amazing sport. It is bonds between animals and humans. They weigh 1200+ pounds, if anyone was abusing them they would kill us easily. They are athletes and love their jobs. Livestock are the toughest animals and a rope being thrown around their neck or bucking people off, does not hurt or phase them. Barrel horses prance before they run in. why? Because they are excited to do their job. Rodeo keeps them in their top shape and health, and are much more healthy and loved than these peoples obese poodles who just sit at home in their beds and eat all day. Rodeo is like no OTHER sport. Nobody fights, or fusses. We’re all one huge family and these animals are our family, teammates, teachers, best friends, and a way to value life and responsibility of loving and treating animals. Rodeo is much more than ropes and spurs and buckles. It’s life lessons and learning to work with something that does not even speak the same language as you. People in this world do not want kids to experience this amazing thing or learn how to work and have responsibility. We are amazing athletes and so are our animals. Nobody will ever take that away. I’ve learned so much doing rodeo and made so many friends and bonds with animals. It’s a true talent to be able to work and have the trust with an animal who could kill me if it wanted to. The people who want rodeo to end, are also the people who sit on their butts all day and do absolutely nothing but hide behind their phone screens and get offended by everything. They don’t know that you can’t take away God given talents. All over the world is one big huge rodeo family and I’d like to say, good luck taking it away. If you think it’s abuse, you OBVIOUSLY don’t know a thing/ nor ever been up close and personal with a rodeo. Go behind the scenes. Our animals have top health, a better diet then most people, live in better barns than our own houses, our horses have nice shoes than us, their hair is groomed and they are taken to equine sp

Rodeo, 4-H and FFA are fantastic ways for kids to learn responsibility, trust, teamwork, sportsmanship, respect, gratitude, friendship, the value of hard work, how to overcome loss, humility and so much more. Animals are the heart and soul of all 3 programs, and without them each program would no exist. Animals in all 3 programs are treated with kindness, compassion and respect, because each person involved understands the gravity of their animal’s participation.

I’ve been involved in 4-h and FFA all my life and i know that the animals are just fine! Actually we treat them better than we treat ourselves and that’s saying a lot.

FFA, 4H and youth rodeo teaches kids valuable life lessons. It has helps to build strong bonds and relationships between families and friends. It is a culture like no other where religion and pride of our countries flag and what it stands for tops anything else. Please support the grant to help these kids and families stay involved.

There are several factors to consider here. 1. Rodeo is not the only sport on this groups agenda to a ban. Animal racing of any kind, circuses, polo, hunting with dogs, cattle and hog shows. It starts with one ban and will continue down the line.. 2. If these sports are taken away from the people who love them what will happen to the animals? The sport fuels passion and bonding and love for the animals we compete with. We spend a lot of money keeping them in top condition. 3. The kids that grow up in Rodeo and other animal sports learn compassion and responsibility with raising an animal. What it takes to keep them alive and healthy. Which in turn gives them appreciation for life and they understand they are responsible for that animals life and the lives of humans when that time comes. I hope and pray that my Grandkids and Great Grandkids can enjoy and learn the life lessons that my kids and I have from raising and competing with the animals we love so dearly. Please help us stop these animal rights activists and their lies about an amazing sport that teaches so much to youth and adults alike.

My family is very involved in rodeo. We respect the animals and it has taught my son valuable life lessons, especially regarding the care and compassion of the animals.

I was in 4-H for many years growing up. It was one of the best times of my youth. I made lasting friendships and gained so much knowledge in other areas. I hope that you all don't let this group ruin the fair.

I have been involved in rodeo my life hole life and now so are all 4 of my kids. It’s a beautiful way of life. If you people could only open your eyes to see what it does for your youth. It’s to bad for you your so closed minded.

I support Agriculture, rodeo,farming etc. I’m tired of protesters being able to force their beliefs on me I have as much right as they do

First..the rodeo..those animals are treated way better than most house pets! No harm, pain, fear comes to any of the animals. Second...4-H..not only do our youth learn responsibility but they learn so much more..respect..they learn who they are..they find their passions..they stay busy and out of trouble. 4-H is a wonderful organization that's been around forever! Do not deprive our youth of what they enjoy and need in life.

Rodeo is the best life to grow up in. My daughter is 9yrs old. Works her butt to take care of her horses and loves them . she competes every year at the Johnson county fair youth and open rodeo.

4H and FFA kids are taught to care and respect their animals. In order for the kids to perform well the animals have to be in the best shape possible. Same goes for rodeo kids. They spend countless hours to care for them. Their whole schedule revolves around the animal. They have to take care of their animals. Please don't ruin a kids lively hood from a small few that don't know how to treat and respect animals or humans.

Rodeo is so important to the youth of America!

Rodeo has taught our son so many things. Weve all made life long friends and family. He is outside spending time with his animals, cleaning stalls, helping stretch fence. He knows you have to work for what you want it doesn't get handed to you. Unlike most of our youth now.

We enjoy the rodeo every year and haven’t noticed any animal abuse. Sandburr Rodeo Productions doesn’t a fantastic job. They’re both respectable and professional, giving the community a fun night out for the whole family!
