Support the block grant for the JC Ag Association & continue the Family Rodeo

I suport all rodeo including the kids and youth

I am in 4H and FFA so I understand what this is for and I completely agree with the block grant.

Our young cowboys and cowgirls need to be supported. Healthy lifestyle and life lessons that carry on from generation to generation These kids are the most responsible, respectful kids out there The animals are treated better than most peoples children Please continue to support goodness

Ag Programs like 4H not only teach leadership, responsibility, hard work, etc. 4H exposes kids to all sorts of Avenues of the Ag industry that could potentially be careers for many of these kids. Ag is one of the leading industries in the state of Iowa. Children need that exporsure.

They told me you were not doing this so hope its is true that you won't block it

I do not agree with blocking Junior Rodeo events. These type of activities teach kids, compassion for the livestock and great work ethics

We are supposed to be raising children to be responsible adults. Youth rodeo, FFA and 4H teach these children to take care of something that can’t take care of itself, to put another’s needs before her own, healthy competition, compassion and empathy. Many of the things taught are missing in today’s me, me, me society.

Support the rodeo! Rodeo stock are cared for better than most backyard dogs in any town. Ag education and activities are essential.

Rodeo & 4H are an essential part in teaching kids the value of hard work, responsibility and sportsmanship. Animals are not harmed, they are treated with respect and are very well taken care of.

Community and family based activities such as 4H, FFA & Rodeo should be promoted and supported in all communities. They teach the youth valuable life lessons, responsibility & respect. Anyone who does not understand this about these organizations has not taken the time to do their research about them & see what core values and beliefs they were founded on.

Support or youth rodeos! !!

Please keep rodeo, stock shows, and Ag sciences past of your fair. These are so important to our youth who are hard working, future stewards of our land, crops, and livestock.

I have two kids that live for rodeo weekends! Do not take this away from them!

Allow the rodeo. Don't let them shut out down. Rodeo is a true heritage and totally respects the American flag and way of life.

Perhaps it's time to ban children's athletics also. Kids are sustaining permanent physical damage yet no special interest groups are trying to ban sports.

The discontinuation of the Family Rodeo would be an appalling devastation. A devastation to everyone involved in making this rodeo happen and to all its competitors. Rodeo is a tradition in this country and does some many positive things for the community. These animals are not abused; in fact they are taken care of better than most people take care of their own children or even themselves.
