Grant the Grandison Family their Permanent Residency Visa. The whole family is an asset to the local community and Australia. Their whole hearted and commited involvement to all sectors of our society is a model we could all follow. As a civilised society we should be showing compassion and care to all. The blind and ignorant discrimination to young 10 year old Tom is discraceful. If the faceless beaurocrats took the time and effort to meet the Grandison Family they would not hesitate in welcoming the Grandisons as valued Australian residents.

Please allow this family to stay in Australia, they contribute in a positive way to our sunshine coast community, and should be allowed to stay .

It would be a loss to the community to not give them the permanent residency. This is treating people like nos not on a case by case basis or as people.

The Grandison's ar truly an asset to our local community and should not be denied a visa on the grounds of their son's condition. They should be applauded for their committment to their son and to the greater community. Australia needs more people like the Grandison's,

If the Government's argument is that Tom will need support throughout his life, there are no better people to do that than his parents; one of whom is a medical practitioner. I fully support the Grandison family in their application as they have demonstrated that they are engaged in the community.

My mum finally found a good doctor and needs him to help her through her treatment and afterwards. Save the Grandison family from stupid bureaucracy.

I have been fortunate to know the Grandison family from mid 2011. They are a warm, intelligent and inviting family who have enhanced our lives on the Sunshine Coast. I whole-heartedly support the petition to have the Grandison family given Australian Citizenship.

Totally wrong reason to exclude a family for this type of health reason! The government and immigration have a lot to answer for!! They seem to be sabotaging -
