Saw Dr Grandison many years ago when he was doing a locum? at Noosaville. We shared a chat about our kids and difficulties we were facing with parenting young kids and he was amazing. Please... he is such an amazing resource for parents with kids who present us with challenges. His family is such an asset is our community, knowledge, help, experience. His family continues to help our community with their knowledge which grows every day. I can't support them enough. Sometimes five minutes in a surgery when you are flailing, stays with you for life. Thank you Dr Grandison and I wish you all the best in every way.

Just garbage that they arent allowed to stay, professional family, contributing positively to Australian society who are self sufficient. God knows how much money and taxes they will generate and pay over their lives. What the hell is the immigration minister got in his head........oh left let in undereducated immigrant killers who arrive on boats!

The Grandison family are one of the most worthy families to live in our country. They are true community people each and everyone of them. To lose them would be losing one of our own. It has been an honour to know each and every one of them.

Where is the compassion and justice? Dr Grandison and family are proven valuable contributing members of the community. The shocking grounds given by the Department for rejecting their application are demonstrably unjustified as Dr Grandison and his wife clearly take care of their son's special needs - and those of others too. Australia cannot afford to lose such valuable members of the community. This case aneeds to be reviewed so that this family can be grant permanent citizenship - they deserve it and are needed by their local community!

I am a patient of Dr Grandison and feel he would be agreat loss to the noosaville clinic if his application for permanent residency is not granted. He has proven to be a compassionate and thorough doctor who has a respectful ability to really listen. As someone new to the Noosa community since 2011 I personally would feel very lost if I had to start a new realtionship with a health professional. Dr Grandison is obviously well able to support his son financially and medically. His work to fund raise for a seizure response dog for Tom is testament to his capacity to support his son. The fact that he has a son with a disability makes him an asset to families as he has personal insight into the challenges of living with a disability in his family; such insight surelt adds to his skill set to support local families with their own serious health issues. I urge the relevant government agencies to approve his application for permanent residency in Australia.

Stephen & Sarah are wonderful parents and lovely people. I knew them for many years in the UK and although we miss them here, their lives are now in Australia. It is appalling that teir visa could be rejected on such grounds and if it is, Australian Govt needs to hang their heads in shame!
A wonderful family with a strong sense of community. They have supported charities and endeavoured to improve the lives of others

The family have been here 3 years, they have a good income. WHEN DID WE SEND AN ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT BACK HOME BECAUSE THEY HAD A DISABILITY..!! I know we don't accept some applicants because of costs to taxpayers, but these people are here and have been for 3 years. Won't the rest of the families support of Australia through taxes balance out Tom's health costs...!!
