The church I attend (Immanuel) hosted the shelter for two years in the 4th ward. Neighbors raised many concerns but later told us that none of their fears were realized. The shelter was zero problem for the neighborhood.

We need this badly. No person should be homeless. Let this be also a resource for getting back on their feet.

Our community needs to take of all of our residents. One way we can ensure that is to take of our most vulnerable. Homelessness is not something someone sees coming or settles for. It is the worst imaginable situation come to fruition. Please take care of our most vulnerable citizens by showing support for this shelter.

The homeless are human beings too! We should not exclude one segment of humanity because they have not had the opportunities that we have had. Open your hearts!

I totally support the shelter. Prior to getting one facility the shelter moved from place to place. We had one in Bourbonniais.....Never a problem. Dawn runs an excellent ship!
