Bring high speed, reliable internet to Clear Creek County.

Good internet access with good upliad and download speeds is a necessity for many buyers. It appears this is a good opportunity for this to come to several CC County neighborhoods. There is virtually no downside. Most buyers will value the improved internet greatly (and pay more) even if some towers are located near them. Strongly recommend approval. Reliable broadband service is a family necessity today and moving forward. Without broadband, buyers will seek a neighborhood that has the service they need and sellers will be at a disadvantage as we all become more reliant on the internet for work and education.

When showing properties in Clear Creek county, one of the first things asked is "Is there good high speed internet" People are working from home these days and need good reliable internet.

The benefits of wireless broadband service will FAR outweigh any visual impact of the tower. There are other areas in the foothills with poor broadband service and homes in those areas don't even get a tumble from the growing number of homebuyers who need fast internet for their at-home work.

I think introducing broadband to this area would only increase property values. Sometimes people turn away from looking at homes in area without broadband or high-speed Internet.

In every single transaction I do in the foothills the buyer asks who the broadband provider is and what bandwidth is available. If the bandwidth isn't sufficient, or reliable enough, most often the buyer will look elsewhere for a home.

The benefits of quality internet service to hundreds of residents of eastern Clear Creek County far outweighs potentially small negative price adjustments to a handful of properties located close to the proposed tower. Reliable internet is no longer a "nice to have" service as best demonstrated by the previous 10 months. The county has a duty to ensure that educating children and providing a means for the citizens to maintain income is not defeated by unsupported assertions. Reliable and adequate internet service is critical to the majority of the population. The quality and cost of internet service will continue to grow in importance as a determinant of real estate marketability and value.

The lack of good internet here in Evergreen is a huge issue for buyers who want to work from home, or even just home school. It impacts our ability as realtors to sell homes in a big way, and impacts sellers who have a harder time selling their home. It impacts quality of life for those who do live here who struggle with intermittent quality of service. Not only is it frustrating, but affects people's ability to work, learn, and to be able to fully engage today's digital world.

I have had numerous clients make a decision not to purchase in clear Creek because of the poor cell service.

accessible broadband while always especially important in rural mountain areas of the state, is now extremely important as people are more than ever needing to work from their homes.

I am a realtor based out of Evergreen. I 100% believe that broadband service will only increase property values, not decrease them. The lack of good internet makes this area less desirable than other areas of Evergreen.

This is tremendously needed as the current choices are slower than the old dial up from the 1990s

Lack of cellular coverage in many Clear Creek County areas, makes internet & wifi access even MORE important. When utilizing wifi calling for both phone & text messages, it allows those who would normally be out of cell signal coverage, to receive important messages, such as reverse 911, wildfire notifications, & other emergency upates. We must move forward with this advancement ASAP. Vital health/medical devices, appliances, home security systems, etc. require reliable internet coverage. It has become a necessity, given network connectivity requirements for all aspects of our lives & the future of our communities. Thank you, for continuing to move our community forward.

As a resident of Upper Witter Gulch in Evergreen, I’m in favor of the services being offered to the region by Clear Creek Broadband. It’s critical for residents in the proposed service area to have ISP options, which will encourage all providers (e.g., CenturyLink, Rise Broadband, Clear Creek Broadband, etc.) to compete and provide the best service at the best price to the residents of the region. In addition to the value ISP competition will bring to residents of the region, access to high-speed internet service has become considerably more critical with the onset of COVID-19 and the need for employees to work from home. Clear Creek Broadband is offering download and upload speeds that far exceed what is currently available from other ISPs serving the region, which will positively impact residents’ ability to work from home.

As a Clear Creek Resident, Evergreen West/Stagecoach/Greystone area for past 29+ years and a Real Estate Broker here in Clear Creek County/Evergreen for the past 20 years my husband and I strongly support access to reliable internet broadband service with upload/download speeds in alignment with to todays standards. Real Estate values are affected by the lack of service as more buyers are working from home. The need for reliable internet with acceptable speed is an essential element for home buyers. Request for evidence of broadband speed has become a top consideration when purchasing a home. Home buyers have eliminated Clear Creek neighborhoods from home searches based on availability and speed. Overall this does affect home values in comparison to adjoining counties. The merits of the tower and access to sufficient broadband service will be a monumental service to the people for the people out weighing the sight of a tower within the abundant towering pines. PLEASE approve this project for the fairness and benefit of our community.
