Save government $$, a compromise was already made. Good luck Sam and your mother's private property and privacy rights!

The needs of the many should outweigh the capriciousness of the few. A single neighbor should not stand in place of a worthy cause!

This is absurd. This is hurting Albany as much as this enterprising young man.

I think it's so awesome what Sam is doing! There should be more young men and women like him. Keep working for what you believe in.

It only occurs once a year and for a good cause. I am not sure what the neighbor's concern is, but for one time a year (and having permits!), it seems that the neighbor could just live with it!

This is a wonderful show of initiative on Sam's part. I have young kids and if they were scared of this, I'd walk them through the construction and ask if they could join in. Good neighbors are worth their weight in gold.

This sort of initiative on the part of local youth warrants the support of the community.

Not only does it bother me that someone can't do what they want on their own private property for the good of the community, but the idea a charity haunted house is being viewed as a nuisance is just plain wrong. I wish you were in my neighborhood!

These events encourage more people to help the community. I wish we have more of these in the United Kingdom.
