i don't truly understand why the city should not allow this. Is it really any different than decorations for Xmas. It's sad that one person can say I don't like this and the city stops the show. This is a free country and its all for a good cause.

So many kids worked so hard on this haunted house over the last years. They spend all of their weekends in October building and running it, working for a good cause- how can one not support this???

Save the haunt. It's not fair that one selfish neighbor can stop such a wonderful event that the whole neighborhood can enjoy.

Please don't let one person ruin such a special and unique event. I thought it was so great that a kid planned and built it. Keep it up!!

A haunted house attraction is a temporary structure which will be removed shortly after Halloween. Those who are not fans of Halloween do not have to attend. It is not manditory. There a great many people who do enjoy Halloween. When someone puts extra effort to make it fun, they should be encouraged instead of harassed. This particular haunt's proceeds goes to charity. A very honorable decision. I have to wonder why it's offensive to ONE person in the neighborhood and to no one else. Maybe she is missing out on some attention and thus is lashing out at this gentleman to get some attention for herself.

This neighbor should really reconsider the negative impact they are imparting on their own community.

This young man is trying to do something amazing for people less fortunate. I hope that This whole thing will blow over and many great memories will be made. I hope the food bank will not suffer and the lives of 100's if not 1000's will not be affected negatively by one person who is a scrooge. I believe after watching the news clip that this is a person who has a religious agenda that is trying to push it on the neighborhood through what she calls an annoyance. In reality what she wants is anything that does not fall in line with her beliefs to come to an end. Thats why they put the little kid talking about blood and gore in the clip. Propaganda. Kid your head up and keep doing good for this world because there is so much bad going on right now!

This is a remarkable young man! When you consider many of his peers are getting into trouble, Sam is doing a valuable community service. No 15 year old should have to go through the red tape this kid is experiencing. Let him have his haunt!!!
